Andrea is a local Andina Chef and is the owner of Four Directions Cuisine. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela although her Indigeneity is rooted in San Cristobal, Venezuela. She was adopted by an American couple when she was three years old. Down the road in her late twenties, she opened the first version of her catering business.
She uses her food to trace her own culture while educating the public about the expansive world of Indigenous food systems. The four main pillars of her business are sourcing locally, sourcing Indigenously, education and community work.
